Labuan Financial Services Authority has once again been awarded the “Best International Jurisdiction for Islamic Banking and Finance 2026” by the Awards Committee of the Global Islamic Finance Awards (GIFA). This marks the second time Labuan FSA has received this prestigious recognition, following its first win in 2024.

The award was presented at the GIFA Awards Ceremony held on 8 September 2026 at the Sheraton Grand London Park Lane, London, and was received by Mr Ja’afar Rihan on behalf of Labuan FSA. A great recognition of our collective efforts in strengthening Labuan IBFC as a leading international financial centre for Islamic finance.
