The Islamic Digital Asset Centre (IDAC), launched in 2022 under the governance of Labuan International Business and Financial Centre (Labuan IBFC), is a pioneering initiative aimed at establishing a sustainable digital market ecosystem. IDAC integrates real-world asset tokenisation within a Shariah-compliant framework, revolutionising the Islamic financial landscape by leveraging cutting-edge technology and aligning with Maqasid Shariah principles and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) elements.
